No we can!
The National Citizen Service provides young people aged between 15-17 (Year 11 & 12) with the opportunity to take part in residential camps and volunteering projects in their local communities.
The programme is designed to help teens progress to their next stages in life, while supporting their social and personal growth.
The Norwich City Community Sports Foundation delivers the National Citizen Service to students from schools across Norfolk, as part of the NCS East Anglia group run by Reed in Partnership.
You’ll kick off NCS with a residential at Hautbois Activity Centre.
Here, not only will you get the chance to take part in all the great activities NCS is known for (kayaking, paddle boarding, rock climbing and many more), but you’ll also enjoy workshops focused on life skills, independence, enterprise, budgeting and more.
The best bit – you’ll be camping and experiencing the true outdoors (think starry nights and camp fires), all while making new friends.
It’s time to make a difference in the community! For the second week, you’ll be based at a local community centre or social area (9.30am to 4pm) with your group, where you’ll plan, design and then deliver your very own social action project!
