We'll be running a 3-day Junior Coaching Academy aimed at aspiring 12-16-year old sports coaches
Young aspiring sports coaches will be able to gain some invaluable experience this Easter, as part of our new Coaching Academy.
Aimed at 12-16-year olds and led by our experienced team, the three-day course will take place at The Nest on April 11th-13th and has been developed to give young people their first insight into coaching.
The camp will be a mix of practical and theory workshops aimed to develop coaching knowledge, based on the Foundation’s delivery philosophy and coaching fundamentals.
The cost for the three-day camp is just £45.00 per person, and includes:
- Practical and theory workshops
- Guest speakers
- Opportunities to plan and deliver practical coaching sessions to Foundation participants
- Personal development sessions, working on communication, self-esteem, resilience, confidence and leadership
- Course gift
- Graduation ceremony and special achievement awards
- Opportunity to volunteer within our programmes following the camp

The Junior Coaching Academy, part of the Foundation’s wider Coaching Academy, will give 12-16 year olds their first insight into coaching and teaching as a potential future career option. The camp will develop participants’ skills and knowledge in coaching, based on the Foundation’s delivery philosophy and coaching fundamentals.
