Fundraise for the Community Sports Foundation and help people in our community

Norwich City and the Community Sports Foundation are setting fans of all ages a fundraising challenge themed around first team squad numbers.

The #SquadGoalsChallenge aims to raise valuable funds to support the Foundation’s work in the community for people with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Plus, if you raise enough for the Foundation, you’ll get some great Norwich City prizes as a thank you!

How it works

It’s simple – fans can pick a player and use that player’s squad number to set the goals for their fundraising challenge.

Some #SquadGoalsChallenge ideas could be:

The possibilities are endless, and we’re excited to see your creativity.

Fundraising prizes

The Foundation will also give out some spot prizes for fundraisers with the most challenging, most creative, or most fun ideas.

You have until the end of March to complete your challenge but may begin fundraising as soon as your page is set up and ready to go.

It’s fun, but it’s also important

Each year, Norwich City Community Sports Foundation aims to raise around £250,000 from events to support its programmes for people with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds.

For example, by raising around £150, you could help to subsidise a year of sessions for a member of the Foundation’s pan-disability football sessions.

With uncertainty remaining over the ability to hold fundraising events later in the year, initiatives like the Squad Goals Challenge are crucial to sustaining the Foundation’s work.

In 2020, those fundraising events were wiped out along with the vital income they provide for many of its programmes, but Norwich City fans came to the rescue by raising an incredible £175,000 (including gift aid) through the season ticket and membership rebate donation scheme, to help meet some of the shortfall.
