Annual tournament at The Nest will not run this summer

Following communication with entrant team coaches, we are saddened to announce that we have made the decision to cancel the Summer Cup 2020.

We are devastated this will be the first time in 20 years that we will not deliver our Summer tournament. However the health and safety of all is the most important factor to us, and with no indication when it will be safe to have over 500 players, as well as coaches and parents, at an event, we feel this is only decision we could make.

Team’s entry fee are, of course, fully refundable, with two options available for team managers.

  1. Full refund of team’s entry fee to the account selected by the team manager
  2. Donation of team’s entry fee to Community Sports Foundation’s COVID-19 Community Project

Managers have been contacted via e-mail with details on how to claim their refund.

We would like to thank you and your team for their patience in waiting for the outcome, and we hope you will join us when Summer Cup returns better than ever at The Nest.

The Foundation’s Football team are already putting plans together for smaller, single age-group events at The Nest; with us looking to launch these when it is safe to do so.

If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
