Teams in Credo's Canaryball Rally to drive from Norwich to Milan
Credo Asset Finance are looking for teams to join an epic European driving challenge, this October.
Dubbed the ‘Canaryball Rally’, the teams of drivers will drive from Norwich to Milan, visiting Arnhem and Munich along the way, all in the aid of their chosen charity Community Sports Foundation and their #BuildTheNest campaign.
The cities visited are a nod to the teams that Norwich City Football Club played in their famous 1993/1994 UEFA Cup Run (Vitesse Arnhem; Bayern Munich; Inter Milan).
The multi-day adventure will take place between the 9th-14th October 2019, and CSF Trustee and TV Presenter Jake Humphrey will be hosting a special launch evening at The Nest on Friday 1st February, where people can find out more about the challenge, the route and what to expect
Credo Managing Director Simon Gray said: “I have always wanted to put a challenge on like this. I love cars and football and this seemed perfect!
“This year, we have chosen local charity Community Sports Foundation as our Charity of the Year and we want to raise as much as we can for their fantastic new facility, The Nest.”
CSF Senior Fundraising & Events Manager Emma Fletcher said: “We are really grateful to Credo who have chosen us to benefit from what we see as a really exciting European challenge.
“This really will inspire people who have an interest in cars but also those Norwich City fans who remember the 1993/1994 run.”
