Sporting Light Update - Tandem Sky Dive and Rick Stein Raffle

September 4th is date for next Tandem Sky Dive

The Sporting Light Appeal has continued with its fundraising efforts as it aims to provide £50,000 for the Community Sports Foundation's Disability programme.

On 9th July, a trio of volunteer Community Champions jumped out of a plane from 13,000 ft for the first of two Tandem Sky Dive events; the second to follow on September 4th. See pics here>>

Alice Marshall-Chalk of Sexty & Co Chartered Accountants, who sponsored the Sky Dive, Alex Scott and Tom Burdett were the first three Community Champions to jump and Alice had this to say afterwards:

"It was an amazing experience something I would definitely do again and really pleased that I managed to raise lots of money for such a great charity."

A raffle held at the recent Rick Stein Celebrity Night at Carrow Road raised £507. Thanks must go to those who donated prizes for the raffle and to Delia's Canary Catering.
