Community Cohesion
Innovative programmes to support and progress disadvantaged people and communities
The Foundation is committed to providing engagement and participation opportunities to wide ranging communities in Norfolk and North Suffolk.
Through the power of sport we have been able to achieve outcomes for a number of groups in both rural and urban settings, providing unique services that cater for a specific group or individuals needs. To date we have successfully worked with groups from backgrounds of:
- Homeless and vulnerably housed
- Drug and alcohol abuse
- Ethnic minorities
- Refugees and asylum seekers
- Offenders
- Pre and NEET status
- Unemployed
- Young People Causing Antisocial Behaviour
This work is only achieved with a partnership approach, developing and sustaining relationships with key organisations being fundamental to the social and learning outcomes achieved. We work in partnership with education providers to deliver a range of Open College Network, National Vocational Qualifications and other accredited qualifications.
