Volunteering

Donating your time to CSF

Should you wish to volunteer and help within a number of our themed programms we would like to hear from you. Please download a volunteer application form, complete it and return the CSF office, as it will give us an indication of your suitability to the Foundation and the various areas you have shown interest in.

All volunteers will need to have completed an Enhanced Criminal Record Burea check before volunteering can take place.

Case study – Paul Abbott, Norwich City Council Volunteer of the Year

"I have a 13-year-old son who has Down Syndrome, and who regularly attends CSF disability activities. I was inspired by the coaches and wanted to become more involved with the Foundation, so started to help out on any activities that my son took part in, including Soccer Centres, Match Day Clubs, and half term camps, all of which are there to help parents with respite as well as give great fun coaching for the children.

"The coaches quickly recognised my enthusiasm and invited me to attend a Coaching Disabled Footballers Workshop, where I learnt new skills and gained a better understanding of many different disabilities and how to involve them all in sport.

"Whilst l am a full time father and carer to my son and dealing with his needs constantly, during the little spare time that I have, I choose to spend it helping others who have similar, if not more severe disabilities then my son, helping children realise their dreams of playing football and sport."
